End of September 2014 Dreamer Sight Newsletter
Hello, and an excellent End of September to you!
Welcome, or welcome back, to my newsletter.
The picture shows me deep in conversation with a fellow student
at a recent workshop, perhaps giving her feedback, or answering
her question.
Knowing myself, I'm trying to be as clear as possible. Whatever
you're doing, I invite you to put your whole heart into it.
Give it the very best of yourself. Halfway measures get halfway
results!
Today's issue has 2 articles from working with my students and
clients, respecting their confidentiality of course. One is about
vision and one is about EFT.
Enjoy!
Vision: Giving a very myopic woman hope
While helping a dedicated young lady with her vision, I noticed
that she believed she had to work hard,
even struggle, to improve her eyesight. This is the way
she had accomplished most other things in her life. She
kept asking what exercise she could do, then what additional
exercise, as if she wanted me to teach her about rigorous
eye push-ups!
I could feel her relaxing as I talked about allowing
herself to see, rather than forcing herself to see.

EFT: Can I tap for multiple issues at once?
This question often comes from those new to EFT, who are excited
to find how effective it is, and want to aim it at every personal
block they're ready to remove. Here's the answer I gave.
A cardinal rule in EFT is to be as specific as possible to get the
best results. For example, tapping on "I'm anxious about my upcoming
trip" won't get you nearly as far as "I'm worried I'll miss my
plane connection on my trip to Europe". Along this same line,
tapping on a single issue at a time is much more effective than
trying to combine issues. Isolate that issue, note the intensity,
and tap until the intensity is lower. Then maybe
go for a walk or eat something, to make a clean separation between
the previous issue and the next one you want to tap on, before
starting in on that.
A happy side effect of EFT is that
tapping on one issue can sometimes lower the
intensity on another completely different one. This is called
"borrowing benefits" in EFT lingo. It's why you'd want to tap along
with other people on their issues even if you don't have those issues
yourself. My sense about this is that
most unpleasant symptoms come from tension and anxiety.
Tapping on any issue can allow the energy blocks to soften, so
whatever symptoms you have are free to reduce.
If you're unfamiliar with EFT, you'll find a brief description
here,
so you can better understand its power.
I welcome your questions and comments
Let me know what you're curious about concerning vision or
dreams or EFT. I'd be glad to write a short article for you.
Enjoy the tail end of this rich month of September, welcoming all
it brings your way.
You'll hear from me again in a few weeks. Take care!
